Terms of Service
AppTester provides Android application testing services. These starter terms explain the scope of that service and the responsibilities of customers and the AppTester team.
1. Service scope
Closed Testing includes 12 unique Google accounts across 12 different physical Android devices, app installation, and participation for a 14-day closed-testing period. Closed Testing + QA also includes manual testing of available functionality, navigation, bugs, crashes, and usability within a planned QA scope.
Manual QA does not mean every feature is tested every day for 14 days. The QA portion is complete once the planned testing is finished. Participation continues for the package period. We cannot promise to identify every bug. Findings are delivered through your order page and chat as discovered; no final PDF report is included.
2. Google production access
We guarantee only delivery of the testing service purchased. We do not guarantee Google Play production access, publication, rankings, or commercial results. Google makes its own eligibility and approval decisions. You remain responsible for complying with current Google Play requirements.
3. Your responsibilities
You must provide a valid HTTPS installation or closed-testing link, add all 12 provided accounts to your tester list, and give accurate instructions and any necessary authorized test access. You must own or have permission to submit the application and its content. Do not send production credentials, payment details, or sensitive personal data in chat.
You are responsible for your app’s legality, safety, content, data practices, permissions, and platform compliance. We may reject illegal, malicious, infringing, or abusive applications. Tester emails are private service information and may be used only to enable the purchased test.
4. Timing and access
The testing period begins when payment is verified, the required setup is complete, and our team starts the test. An inaccessible installation link or missing access can delay testing. If an interruption requires a restart, we will explain this in chat and record a new start date. Orders cannot be marked complete before the recorded 14-day participation period has elapsed.
5. Payments and refunds
Prices are displayed in USD and charged once per order. Payments are processed by the provider selected at checkout. An order is created only after server-side payment verification. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. Cancelling an order does not by itself issue a refund.
6. Account and communication
Google sign-in is required for checkout and private order access. Protect your Google account. Order chat and screenshots are accessible to the customer and authorized AppTester administrators.
7. Business-specific provisions
TODO: Add the contracting entity, contact address, effective date, applicable law, dispute resolution process, limitations of liability permitted by law, consumer cancellation rights, tax handling, and notice of material changes. These starter terms do not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
AppTester is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Google Play.
